A Fun but Slow Family Drama That Works Better on OTT
Some movies work because of their story, while others are saved by their performances and comedy. This Telugu family drama falls somewhere in between. Story & Premise
The story is set around a newly married couple.
Just three days after their wedding, the heroine tells her husband that she has a serious problem with him. She asks him to figure out what exactly the problem is and prove his love for her.
She then leaves for her parents’ house.
From there, the central question becomes: What exactly went wrong between the couple? Can the husband understand the problem and resolve it? And what finally happens to their relationship?
The movie builds its narrative around this central conflict while also bringing in family members and village-based situations.
First Half
The first half is comparatively better.
The movie gets to its main conflict fairly quickly instead of spending too much time stretching the romance. Once the central problem is established, the story moves forward with some entertaining situations.
There are several fun portions, particularly involving the supporting characters.
The comedy doesn’t work in every scene, but there are enough enjoyable moments to keep the first half watchable.
Performances
Performances are one of the movie’s major positives.
